This is a very cool poster!
If I were you, I would flip the unicorn on a vertical axis, though ^^
Then he's looking from left -> right, which symbolically represents progress - which is something you find in a lot of recruitment posters.
Another reason which would promote the unicorn looking the other way is the (very awesome) symbol at the top - it takes more volume on the left side, so flipping the unicorn would give it more volume on the right side - balancing the poster as a whole.

I'm just not going to say anything about the skill because you're way way ahead of me on that one xD

_______

.. Just looked at your other posters, I think I'm starting to understand your decision to make the unicorn look left now.
Tempted to remove everything I typed above, but then I would've wasted my time typing it, so I'll just post it anyways xD
Love your work, looking forward to more ^^

I don't think the ponies would appreciate being called cows. They're ponies after all, and as such a group of them is called a "string". But, keeping the brony community as a "herd" certainly fits their negative actions.

What you just said and what your quote says is not true at all.

Many bronies respect their "rule", and to be honest, it was never an official rule in the first place. It was just a term made up on 4chan to settle arguements. Even with those circumstances, many bronies, including myself, follow that rule vigorously. I never treat anybody bad, and if they dislike me, or the show, I ask them to watch it before making decisions about it, then ignore them. If they watch it and still dislike it, that's fine. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Oh, and the terms "Ponydude" or "Ponyfan" would never catch on, would sound really...odd. Anyways, expecting a group of people to all act kindly and/or respectfully is just ignorant behavior. No group on Earth will have everyone listen to all of what they preach. Look at Christians, for example. Just because a few, or a lot of people are annoying or rude sometimes, who cares? Many bronies are very kind and very respectful. Being a brony doesn't automatically force you to have to be kind to everybody. That's just absurd and moronic.

So you think the Mane 6 would like being called cows? You think a group of ponies is called a "herd"? Because it isn't. Scientists classify it as a "string".

I am aware of the history of the phrase. Regardless, I think it'd be more accurate to say that you're almost always nice to people. While I don't monitor your every action, I doubt you're kind 100% of the time. Even I lose my temper sometimes, which usually results in my being sarcastic.

Yeah, they don't have that special something that "brony" has. Perhaps the phrase "brony purist" would be better.

Because I totally said that I expect the entirety of Bronies to be kind. While that would be nice, it is foolish to expect bronies to be kind or to agree with my opinion of morality.

I wasn't talking about Bronies being kind. Plenty of them can do that. I'm talking about them and their deterring from the show's meaning. The show's about friendship, yet so many of them teach "tolerance" and ship the Mane 6, who are friends, together. They corrupt the innocence of the show with r34, sex jokes, vulgarity, and all that other "adult content". It's irritating.

Sorry. While I was rather ambiguous, I am often sarcastic when people assume things. Not because I'm angry, but because it's effective at getting my point across.

Only 20-30% of bronies enjoy r34, you know.

A 3rd is a lot you know. Regardless, more than that have no problem whatsoever with them doing that. Only a few are repulsed at it.

Also, love this series and tried to make it my profile picture, but Facebook said it was a "bad image." I don't see anything bad with it. I fact, I love it.

I'm flattered you think this arty worthy to be shown to your friends. Try converting it to different image files. (.jpeg / .bmp / .gif) Or maybe it has to do with the size. Crop it down a little if that helps.

Fave'd it! :D

Say, could you do some *darker* Join the army posters for a project? Around 5-6 of them? It would be for those houses/cult over here:

[link]

*Darker* as in throwing in some fitting rascim, badmouthing other houses or putting their own cause on a high horse besides the obvious join the army. After all they donīt join a country army, but an army of a house. Or they join the cult of laugther.^^

I had actually looked at some of the more... "touchy" propaganda posters from that era, and decided to just leave them be. Not that I didn't think them significant or anything. I just didn't know how I would adapt ponies to them while still staying within the style I had in mind. I'm also afraid by the time I would finish 5-6 posters most of us would be out of college and I'd probably be in my early 50's (I'm 20). Sorry. :icondashshrugplz:

AHEM join the STRING is actually the correct term. I don't like calling my favorite ponies COWS.

True. The technical term for a group of ponies is called a "String" (Learn something new every day!). However, as the Brony community has grown, the phrase "Join the herd" has become a part of our pop-culture. Which is why I chose it. Many people commonly use the word "Herd" to describe a group of ponies or horses even if it isn't technically correct. I also certainly do not intend to refer to the characters of the show as "Cows", and I'm sorry if it came off as such. But what's wrong with cows man?!:iconapplejackisayplz:

I guess I'm just finicky about the correct term, especially since "herd" sounds unintelligent (Twilight!), 'cause, you know, cows ain't that smart. Another reason could be is that there's a lot of Brony pop-culture that I don't like, as you saw in my other post.
Hey man, it's okay. I think whenever I comment on a piece of art and share my opinion, I just suppose the artist will chuckle and ignore me. So I'm austere. I guess I just feel like my opinion is so unpopular that people won't be kind to me. I don't know. You've been very nice. :)
Nothin's wrong with cows. Without them, we wouldn't have milk, and therefore, no chocolate milk, and that would be a tragedy. I just don't think Twilight would like being called a cow when she knows she's a pony, you know?
